The Beginning
It is said that 'beauty lies in the eye of the beholder' and we couldn't find our kind of beautiful home furnishings in the market, so we decided to make them ourselves!
Just as joy increases when shared, we choose to share our joy of making beautiful things by making them available to more people like us.
Thus, ATOB was born.
If you have read this far you already know of our love for creating
beautiful handcrafted things; so while we were deciding on a name,
'A Thing Of Beauty'
from John Keat's poem, Endymion was the first phrase that crossed our minds.
But we wanted something short and simple, the abbreviation
felt just right.
